I wrote here earlier asking how to get a manual for a motherboard online, but now I have another question: I have a motherboard, nothing else, no manual or packaging, just the board. How do I find out what the model of the motherboard is? The manufacturer is ASUS, but the only other information I see on the board is "P2L97" in big letters, plus "Rev. 2.04". Now, that might be the model, but I looked on motherboards.org and couldn't find the model. Basically, I need to find a manual or such in order to install this motherboard. I've only done one motherboard install before, and I can't do it without a guide to tell me what jumpers/cables to put where. Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

I found the motherboard model at motherboards.org, but I can't find any documentation on it to help me. My question still remains: how can I get the information I need to use this motherboard and set it up? The page that gives its specs is here: http://iceberg.pchomeworld.com/cgi-win/L3Static/L3Stat.asp?Part=MB65978

Check out this (http://www.asus.com/products/motherboard/manual_slot1.html) page on the ASUS (http://www.asus.com/index.html) site.
You may not see the exact revision number you are looking for, but it's probably as close as you'll get unless an individual has actually uploaded their manual to the web.

I have this mb installed in a sys I am building. ASUS is very good with manuals and documentation, I suggest you call their support #--but check 1st to see if a manual is available at their site--most mb mfrs have mauals for download--and ASUS is one of the best.
