Not sure whether this is a hardware or software problem.

Using Adaptec Jewel Case Creator labeler, it will print the back label, and the CD round label, but won't print the front or inside label. When I try to print those, the amber printer light comes on, and I have to press the eject button. The paper then comes out, and on the paper is this:

PCL XL error

Subsystem: TEXT

Error: InsufficientMemory

Operator: Text

Position: 719

Went to the web site and got the latest driver - no change after installing. Did a search and went to another website and downloaded a program that supposedly prints CD labels, but the program won't read the titles like the Adaptec program does.

Printer: HP Laser Jet 6P
Windows 98SE.
Memory: 224 MB

NOTE: Please, if you don't know the answer or if you don't have experience with this particular problem, don't guess. I know the guessers mean well, but it works against me. Thanks.

MJC: No luck. It looked like a good guess, but it turned out to be a wild goose chase.

Have you experienced this particular problem?
