Here is the spec for the on board sound on my New NForce2 Motherboard:
Audio
NVIDIA 6-channel Soundstorm via Realtek ALC650 6-channel CODEC. S/PDIF Out (Optical) on the backplane.
Supports real time AC3 encoding via hardware
'Soundstorm' certified
I am not the most technically minded person when it comes to sound cards etc, it once took me 4 hours to setup a an Audigy Platinum! so apoligies if this question is a little vague, But...
What can I actually do with this On board sound? I have two normal speakers and thats about it, what do these 2 extra little connectors actually do? is it digital sound output or something? What do I need to make use of it.
Cheers
