when i try to use certin programs such as counter-strike i get the blue screen of death
this is what is says
"A fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:C0006E1D in VXD VMM(01) + 00005E1D. The current aplication will be terminated"

does any one know what this means,

are there any programs that can tell you if something is wrong with your hardware?

Try downloading the latest video/sound drivers and if you are using a VIA mobo, get the latest 4 in 1 drivers.
