Hello all,
My brother gave me an HP Pavilion 3265 which won't power-up. I've
determined the power supply is bad.
Now I want to test the computer with a standard AT power supply but
there is a problem. The Bestec BPS-644sb has an odd 3-pin connector to
the motherboard and the Pavilion 3265 won't work without it. I believe
Compaq DeskPro 3250 has this same power supply.
This image (if it shows up) shows a PS with the same connectors except the 3-pin is not shown:

My question:
What voltages are supplied on the 3-pin connector of BPS-644sb and why
won't the Pavilion work without it?
