I got error code: 102 System board Failure on my Compaq deskpro 2000. The Reference Guide said:
Probable of problem: DMA, timers, etc.
Action: Replace the processor board. Run computer setup or Win95 utilities.

How can I do if I can't replace my processor board. Any advice. Thank you.

if i read the compaq explanantion correctly; then you're going to have to get a new mother board! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/eek.gif
Does this happen when you boot up first thing? maybe someone else will have some info on this situation.

iisbob,
Yes, this does. I do think so too.

If you have access to another appropriate power supply and RAM I would try that first (one at a time). Also make sure nothing has wriggled itself loose or even the dreaded chip-creep http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif

Maybe save a buck or two http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
