The local computer store up the street from me is having a sale on 512MB DDR333. Is there anything I need to do in BIOS or do I just pull the the old 266MB DDR266 out and slap the new Ram in? My MoBo will take DDR333?...

I really don't know, but I'll add to the question here. Will DDR333 work with DDR266? Will it lower its speed to match, or will I get a boot problem if I combine the 2 speeds? The pack said not to combine with RAM of different speed, but I know some of these companies are over-protective...

You should be able to just take out the old RAM and put in the new. You may have to change a BIOS setting if it isn't autodetected and run at the higher speed, but I would see what it says before trying that.

DDR RAM is supposed to be downward compatible, but it is possible you could run into trouble mixing speeds. It may work fine and it may not. As Dirty Harry said: do you feel lucky today....:D
