Is there a speed or compatibility problem between 8x AGP and an nVIDIA Geforce2 Ultra? I am unable to get any screen, there is a single short beep which repeats every second, the board is an ABIT KD7-R.

The AGP rev. 3 slot design excludes the use of cheaper AGP rev. 1 cards for testing. The GeFORCE2 card is working fine for other PCs.

GF2 cards are not compatible with AGP 8X.
And if your MB's AGP slot is not backwards compatible with older cards, then your card will not work with it.
