I have a q-Lity P3810E-T Mobo, and I wanted to know how to determine the front side bus speed. It supports 66/100/133, and I am trying to figure out what it is running at?

Anyone??

Does the board have a selector switch? Check the documentation on the board to see where the switches are at any certain speed.

Thanks,

The docs say there are 4 jumper settings, with the first one being Auto (default).

Any idea how I know what it defaults too? nothing in the docs.

If I change the jumper to 133, do I risk any damage?

It depends on processor and system memory speed. What are they?

Auto is probably your best bet with that board if it is factory set and you have a retail system.

I wont go into the horrors of overclocking.

Thanks,

PIII 600, with PC100 Sdram.

Not a retail system, just a little old, and I definitley don't want to get into overclocking.......

WCPUID (http://www.h-oda.com/).

Nothing is installed on your system with this utility (no registry changes or files added other than what unzips when you run the exe).

And don't worry if IE prompts you to install Japanese language packs, just cancel. The website and program are both English.
