Do I have room for a scanner and zip drive or anything else on my system?
This is a list of IRQs:

Well that depends...are you planning on using a USB scanner? If so you've already got an IRQ assigned to USB so it shouldn't use another one.

If you use an IDE ZIP drive then you've alredy got IRQs assigned to them it would would use the one for the IDE channel it is on...

Also are you using the RAID, MPU-401, both COM ports?

I have a scsi scanner, and an ide zip drive. I'm using raid-0,
don't have anything on usb ports. Not sure about MPU-401.

You should be able to use up to 8 ide devices with no problem...4 on the RAID card and 4 in the onboard channels...if yoou aren't using Com2 then you can disable it to free up an IRQ for the scsi card for your scanner.
