My darn mouse is jumping all over the place!!!! I have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver, still no workie. It is randomly clicking on things while I'm working and it is both a right clicking and a left clicking without me touching the darn thing. Any suggestions? It is a Kensigtion 3-button mouse with a switch on the back for MS (Microsoft) and PC (self-explanatory). Thanks. PS. Switch set to PC, doesn't jump as much, Also, I have gone into my "System, Graphics, and changed the "performance" and this did nothing to control the mouse.
A little more system info would be helpful.
Also, does it start this from boot up or does it happen after the system has been running for a while?
Have you tried a second mouse?
Did you check in safe mode to see if it showing more than one set of mouse drivers? (boot into safe mode and go to device manager then mouse) if more than one set is showing remove them and reboot (you may need to remove all the sets and reinstall it).

Hey, just thought I'd let you know that it was the mouse. She died. Bought a new one and it works great. Thanks for the help. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
