I don't know if this problem is only with the Nero software but I'm tired of having to rename my all my files to make sure they meet the 31 caracters or less requirement before I back them up on my CD-Rs and CD-RWs... what is an easier way to backup my files without going through all this hassle?

My quike workaround for this situation is to create a folder Nmae it some thing simple, then put required files into it. Make screen snap shot of contents (Keep seperate) Now make a ZIP file of the folder (then Self extractor if you want) This will allow you to write to CD using Nero.

Sounds long winded but quick to do. Maybe someone will come up with proper solution
