View Full Version : Can't reinstall WINDOWS 98

my problem is i formatted my cpu but when i restart and put in my windows 98 cd, it says none system disk error(it scan the A: for disk)how to reinstall my windows back??
If you have access to another Win98 machine use it to make a bootdisk (control panel -> add/remove programs -> startup disk) and boot to it it, select with cd rom support, put in your cd, switch to that drive (should be d:), and then type setup at the prompt...

Go into your bios and in boot options put the cd-drive first

I didnt think they made Windows98 CDs bootable. Mine isnt, and its a full install.
