I have a Patriot computer with 6GB hard drive and a 435MHz intel Celron processor.
I am experiencing problems particularly when I play a game, it starts off fine but after a while the image starts to freeze.
Just for a split second to start with but then over the next few minutes it gets worse with longer freeze times until it locks up completely. I then have to pause it and wait, after a period of time my tower goes crazy and seems to be dumping stored memory which it has built up. It then starts to play fine for a while till it starts to repeat the process.
I have also noticed this when I am in Windows to, and also when I play a CD, It freezes for a split second then carries on after it has what I can only describe as Dumping built up data.
To my knowledge I have not added anything that would have caused this problem,
I have downloaded a program called SiSoft Sandra and analysed my system, on the CPU Dump section it gives a warning No W5501
Whether this has any bearing on the subject I do not know? If you need anything more please ask and I shall try to supply it.
I would be grateful for any input that you can give me to try and correct this problem.
