Hi;

I have an AT case and 230 watt power supply, the latter which may be inadequate to power the system I have with my Soyo 5EH5 mobo. So, since I have a good 300 watt ps sitting in the closet, I thought that I could use it to power my system. Directron suggested that I use an At/ATX adapter, so I can use the ATX power supply.

The adapter comes with the ATX/AT connectors, with only the black and "Green" wires that run from the ATX connector plug-in, that should connect to the AT switch (the system will not work with the atx ps, as it is).

Trouble is, the AT ps has 4 connectors, brown, black, blue and white that run to the power button switch.

Can anyone tell me how to connect the wires to the power button switch correctly, so I don't toast the ps or board? Connect to p1 vs. p2 only?

I assume the new cable "soft" powers the motherboard to enable the ps to power up the system. Since the colors (blue/green) on the old ps/vs. adapter don't exactly match up, I want to get it right.
