More info would be very helpful, a good description of the problem and some system info might give us something to go on.

Hi;
Yes, more info. would be good.
Is this a new system you built, or has it been running OK til now.
Did you add any new hardware, especially a new modem model #?
What hardware is in the system?
AT or ATX system?
Does it ever happen while running programs and not being on the web?
I am having a similar problem with a new system I put together and am curious to find an answer - or maybe solve it with this post together. Only happens when I am on the web!

Hi;
What motherboard do you have?
Check to make sure that you have set all the jumpers correctly on the board for the processor CPU multiplier etc.. specific for the processor you are using.
Are you running Windows 95? If you are, you need to download a patch for the processor.
Is the processor a K6-2, K6-2+, K6-III?
Have you installed the motherboard drivers?
Is it a winmodem or hardware modem that you are usuing?
What is the power supply (wattage)?
