I installed a wierless keyboard and mouse. Everything is working fine but when I put my computer into standby mode It will not stay It may set for a while but comes out by itself. It is a sku#296133 from comp usa. It was suggested by their tech. dept to exhange the unit for another. I have done this but still have the same problem. Can anyone help. Thanks Nubbin

In general most people do not use stand by mode as it is poorly implemented by MS. I don't know why the wireless setup started this, but I wonder, why do you bother with stand-by at all?
In your standby setup you have awake on keyboard / mouse movement
Correct ?
If so that is the cause
wireless key/mouse controllers poll the unit at a regular time interval
This polling is being read by the system as Movement
If you disable this feature you lose control from the key/mouse
You may be able to reduce the poll interval But doing so will reduce the mouse responce time and may also cause a major lag in the keystrokes to screen display
