Hi, I have a weird problem with my Sharp BJC 2010 printer. I recently replaced the ink cartridge because the old one went dry (the printer was stored in the basement for long time). After replacing (original parts!) the ink the printer printed perfectly for three days but suddenly last night started to "print" blank pages. No presence of ink at all on the page. When i send the printing command the printing head goes back and forth as if it was doing it`s job but the sheet of paper comes out white. I get no error message at all. What could it be?

I would try running the software printhead cleaning program that should be in the printer software. It is likely that the ink has dried on the printhead and is blocking flow. If that doesn't work, you can very carefully clean the print head, probably with a plain paper towel wet with warm water.

I've used special "Universal Cartridge Flush/Print Head Cleaner" as supplied by
www.jrinkjet.com

I left the cartridge sitting in a small amount [that was deep enough to submerge the heads] in a small dish overnight and in the morning there were particles of ink at the bottom ot the fluid and the heads were free.

They also supply ink refills.

If your heads are part of the machine not the cartridges then you can use old cartridges which have been flushed and cleaned then put some cleaner in the cartridge and print with that. This then becomes a "Cleaner Cartridge".
