I plan to get a new PC with wireless keyboard and mouse. I will also be getting two printers and a scanner. Is there a way I can avoid cables and communicate/contol the printers and scanner via wireless; ie Bluetootyh or Wi-Fi, etc, by plugging in the appropriate modules into the USB ports of PC and peripherals? Will there be interference problems? Haven't seen anything on this.
thanks

Others may know more than I, but I have not seen any wireless scanners or printers.
That is an awfull lot of data to try to send over the same system that transmits keystrokes and mouse movements....
I think you're ahead of the technology for now. Maybe next week.

If you can get hold of an old pc and set it up to serve the printers on a wireless network, should work for them. Using scanners on a network is not so easy if I remember correctly though. Maybe someone knows if this can be achieved.

Actually if the scanner could be worked, I might just use my old 486 box to do just this. ISA slot could be a problem though.
