If at first you DO succeed, then try not to look too surprised.

Hi,

We're going to need some more information on this one. Has this problem just serviced? How long have you had the system? What changes have you recently made? Any new software or hardware installations?

Post back with a little background and we'll go from there. You might also try searching the MS Knowledge Base for your particular error message.

Cheers,

did you by any chance delete things-(anything)- to get rid of them or to get more room on your hard drive ??

try this: boot to command prompt only (by holding/pressing the F8 key at boot)

at the C:/> prompt- type: scanreg_/fix

(with the _ representing a s_pace)

press enter.

allow this to run and then reboot.
