Not quite sure what you're getting at here...
A scanner is an optical device, used for recording images of physical items. If you want to capture a web page, there are various methods - the easiest is to add it to your favourites (bookmarks) and make it available offline. You coudl also choose save as, and give it a name.
it will be available to your computer, and you can print it whenever you want to.

You can certainly open a saved web page in a graphics program you would use for a scanner, but as deddard said, the scanner is an optical device and usually doesn't even have any memory to save to....
This thread has a discussion of how to save a screen HERE. (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=22629&highlight=Screen+print)
Thanks for the responses. Yep I know that the scanner is optical and has no memory, I guess I should have worded it different. I believe what I was asked about a better way has been answered by the thread on
print screen. I will pass that program on and may use it myself.
