When I use the "Audio Tuning Wizard" in MSN Messenger, the speaker checks ok but it says “The microphone you selected is not working properly, or may be in use by another program”.
When I use the "Audio Tuning Wizard" in Netmeeting both check out ok.

I can use audio in Netmeeting but not in Messenger [as would be expected].
My sound card only has half duplex capability.

Does anyone understand this?
Is this as it should be or not?

I'm not sure but msn messenger may behave like that for a half duplex card.

I'm using MSN Messenger 5.0, and the behaviour is the same with the earlier version.

I wonder why Netmeeting works with a half duplex card but Messenger doesn't?
