Welcome to http://www.pcguide.com/ubb/pcgubb.gif
You can download DocMem (http://www.simmtester.com/PAGE/products/doc/docinfo.asp) and use it to test your RAM. One beep when you boot up is normal and tells you that the computer completed POST properly. The extended beep may be due to RAM, but it could be something else too, including a problem with your sound. Does it come from your speakers or from the case speaker??

Try reseating you RAM a couple times. The slot may of been dusty and your not getting a good connection.
Yep, try the reseating first then if it is still acting up, run DocMem.....
By the way, what does a poll on game consoles have to do with a RAM problem?
If you want opinions on those, please start a thread in the Gaming forum.

thanx for the advices guys...
the beeping sound come from the case speaker.
tried reseating my ram, but still the same...
run DocMem and passed every test but during one of the tests, (which is 'moving inversion') my comp start to beep once in every two seconds.
any idea why??
Possible heat related, if you BIOS offers temperature monitor, please check the temps. Those RAM tests are pretty intensive. If possible, run the test again, then boot into the BIOS and check the temp, I bet it is close to the warning level.

yep, you're right..the temperature went up to 72 Celcius.
but i still don't understand why my comp beep once for 2 seconds everytime i restart. is it got to do with ram problems or overheating?

It is not likely to be due to overheating when you just have booted, but it also is not likely to be a RAM problem if your RAM tested okay. I would wonder about some other problem like a bad cable, poorly seated video card or some other problem that wouldn't disable the computer, but would produce the error and maybe make things more unstable.
