Ok, I bought a GeForce4 ti4200 128mb 3d card from Chaintech (some Chinese company) a while ago. After putting in my 3d card and running it for a while, one of the heatsinks fell off, and my sound immediately stopped! After putting it back on, the sound seemed to work again, so I didn't think anything of it. Well, it's been a couple months now, and the heatsink keeps falling out again, and even if the heatsink stays in, the sound won't work. (On a side note, my motherboard has onboard sound, so I don't have a seperate soundcard). Can anyone give me some advice on what to do with this card? I've tried keeping it on with some electrical tape, but it didn't work.

You could try buying a new heatsink for the card and see if that makes a difference but I would take the card back to where you got it from and demand a refund/replacement.
