View Full Version : Beep code one long with interval, permanent...
Hi,i know that one long beep ,i mean award bios beeps,is memory problem,
but we have non stopping loud and long beeps ,with smoll intervals.and the screen is dark.no post.
what is damaged?

1]. make sure your memory. is well seated
2]. check to make sure your fan is working on the processor
3]. make sure the video card (if you have one) is seated properly if it is it may be bad
chackd all 3 points,before and after with no results.

Beep codes vary depending on the BIOS. You need to figure out what your BIOS is and then you can look up the beep codes. If you can figure it out, you can start HERE. (http://www.pcguide.com/ts/x/sys/beep/index-i.htm)
If you can't figure it out let us know and we can help you find the BIOS info...
