I recently re-installed windows 2000. All devices were recognized correctly except my modem (conexant HCF 56K) due to non existant drivers for modem. I then downloaded and installed driver (windows 2000 generic driver).
Now the problem that I see when I connect to my ISP, sometimes it goes perfectly but most of the times it comes out with message "disconnected due to hardware problem". This is really intriguing to me.
