Help!
After replacing my fully working 386 system with a new 486 motherboard, (i80486dx2/66mhz) I powered the machine on, and went to set up the BIOS. Great, I thought. The two hard drives were auto-detected first time and the memory was tested; working. I saved to CMOS and exited. The machine rebooted... (gnash gnash..... crrrrrrruuuunnnch - BEEP!)
BUT...
Instead of booting, the machine just hung, floppy light stuck on.
Damn.
I placed a boot disk in, and rebooted.
(more gnashing of hard disks - BEEP!)
The floppy started loading for about 4 seconds and then hung again, just like before.
Damn!

Can anyone suggest why this is happening? The hard disks are
C: - 150meg, bootable, MSDOS 5 and Windows 3.11 - worked on 386.
D: - 165meg, non-bootable, games and programs installed - worked on 386.

and the floppy is hooked up correctly, drive A:, 1.44meg, 3.5''
The BIOS is Phoenix.
I have 3.7mb of ram on board in four sticks of 32 pin SIMM.

Thanks for any help.

PS - FANTASTIC SITE BY THE WAY!!! KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT WORK!
