i have built a pc and wired everything up but it will not power on.
i have tested the power supply and that worls ok.
but whe the pwr button is pressed on the front of the pc nothing happens.

WHAT SHOULD I DO!!!

Nothing? No fans starting up or drive sounds?

Try looking at the motherboard to see if it has any LEDs. If so one of these should be on if the power supply is connected correctly. If not check the PSU cable to the MB.

Then check that the switch is properly attached to right pins on the MB

its i=ok now, i rang the technical support number of the company that i bought it from and found out that the CMOS jumper was set in the wrong position, i have changed this and all is working ok.
