I have a laptop, I hooked up a monitor and key board to it. Well whenever I hit the down arrow it works fine but it also mutes my computer. I have a Compaq keyboard with all the garbage buttons on it for internet usage and what not. The funny thing is the mute button on this fun magical keyboard also is the down arrow. They are both doing each others jobs. How can i seperate their functions?

I am gonna kill this keyboard.

I am not sure what you mean by them both doing each other's jobs, both what?

That said, you may need to install the software for the keyboard on the laptop so that you can change the settings. Another option would be to pick up a cheap generic keyboard. I have seen them for less than $5...

Also you may want to try a keyboard that isn't quite so cluttered...a basic keyboard would probably be better than that Compaq monstrosity.

what i mean is the mute button not only mutes but is the down arrow, and vice versa.

I will just buy a better keyboard this one is crap anyways I HATE COMPAQ!!

Gotta love the wall PC. Ive run similar floor setups but never on a permanent basis, only for testing and assembly.

I just bougth a new keyboard and threw that comcrap one away. The wall PC looks good, I love the bowling T-Shirt it adds to the overall trashy look.
