Every second call I get lately seems to be concerning the usb,and reinstalling the drivers or the adapter or both...

Get it right sometimes,Most times i cannot get it to work...
This involves all OS's.

Any advice to make my Job alot easier would be appreciated!

Thanks

Can you be more specific? Sounds like you're asking the forum to do your job. (Which I personally am happy to do, as long as I get a cut http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif )

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach him to use the net, and he wont bother you for weeks.

being a little more specefic...
The problem seems to be basically updating the drivers.
It will not pick up the drivers on the disc,A or D.
Is there something I am doing wrong when choosing the location for the drivers to be found? Is there another way around it?
Appreciate all help..

1. Drivers must be unzipped before installation. I prefer to create a folder for this rather than let windows/winzip use the default temp folder.

2. In many cases it's best to go into Safe Mode and remove the periferal/component from Device Manager before trying to update drivers, this removes any chance of "ghost" drivers causing problems. This is true for any device, not just USB

3. Yes, USB and Windows have had problems. Check the aforementioned Micro slowest-site-of-all-time Soft site...

4. Make sure BIOS settings are OK and connections are good.
