hey, need some advice fast, i upgraded my memory with an additional 256 megs of pc 133 to bring my total to 384, all memory is of the same make, problem is, when i test it with (ohhhhhh noooooooo,)Norton system works it fails the memory test, i tried my 128 alone, worked fine, tried my 256 alone,, worked fine,switched places with each other works fine separate, but together,,, keeps failing, returned my 256 for another and still fails, they told me that it is my norton and it isnt a great program(gasp) i personally like it, but i downloaded sandra from sisoft and did the memory benchmark test, it tested fine,, are they right is it just norton being fussy??or should i go back. thanks fo the time.

Are you getting any errors? lockups?

If all seems to be well then I would agree tha the fault lies with the program, but if you are getting other errors then I would say return it. It may be that Norton has an internal limit of 256MB, that could be why it reports everything is ok with 256 or less....
