My wireless keyboard works fine until I get on the internet. When I am on the internet I can type in the search boxes but not in the address box at the top of my screen.
Are you saying that you can only type into some fields while surfing (online)? like form boxes?
When you are off line and open up the browser can you type into the address bar?

Try your old keyboard and see if that works.
If the old one is able to type in the address box but the wireless one cannot, then the problem is with the new keyboard, maybe a faulty driver for the wireless keyboard.
If you have the same problem with the old keyboard, then the fault lies with Internet Explorer or whatever browser you are using. You could try reinstalling IE, or install a later version.
Let us know what happens, and please post the specs of your system - particularly what OS you are running and the version of IE.

I would try installing the keyboard software for your keyboard, if you have not and look for an upgrade on the manufacturers web site if you have. A lot of times people get new keyboards, they work with Plug and Play and they dont install the software that comes with them. Sometimes the software is actually useful, although this may be rare : )
