I'm having trouble with starting up, I have changed the power supply, checked the on/off switch. When I start up I get the fan to move for just a fraction of a second and then nothing. Help please?

Was this system previously working or is this a new build?

Have you checked for any shorts, try booting with the motherboard out of the case and on an non-conductive surface.
