I bought a Epox EP8K7A+ motherboard, and it works
well. Last week, I plugged in a Leadtek Nvidia Geforce
2 Graphics card and installed the driver on Windows
2000. After that, the whole system locks up. I even
can not boot the system from the floppy drive. The
weird thing is if I power off the system for a couple
of hours, the floppy drive can boot the sytem with a
system disk. Once the system starts, if I restart the
computer and try to reboot it from floppy drive, it
fails. I found the problem exists even I connect only
floppy disk, and the graphics card to it. I wonder if
the problem comes from the BIOS or the floppy
controler(but I can not imagine how a driver changes
the hardware). I also checked the cable and the
connecting, everything is OK. The same floppy drive
can boot up another machine with the same system disk.
It is so weird!

Could you give me some help? Thanks a lot!

Well Shauny,

Seems like problems follow you everywhere? http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif

A couple of more details about what you have on this new board would be helpful...like the speed of the chip, and the size of the power supply,
what video card did you have before the leadtek, did you completely remove the odl drivers first, if it is onboard video did you disable it in BIOS?
