I'm trying to build a system using a Slot A AMD Thunderbird processor with an FIC SD11 motherboard. I can't seem to get past the boot up test and I'm wondering if these parts a compatible. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas that might help? TIA

What speed of Thunderbird are you you trying to run? What BIOS version does the board have?

Does it get past the memory check when trying to boot?

Thanks Reid found problem to be exactly that, I needed to upgrade BIOS to nc611 and now all is well Thanks again for the reply
