Is there away that I can receive the version of my modems chipset, I am running w2000pro ntfs? Rather then taking my cover off the pc/looking on the cards chip?

In Control panel open the modem
Run the Diag..
It will send a full set og commands.
At the top of the list should be the moden ID
It should list the chipset
