Looking for a short KB i.e., no NUM pad.

Need this to be standard, PC compatible, as I us a KVM switchbox to toggle
between PC and Unix.

Any recommendations ?

Why do you not want a ten-key pad?

You can pick up a standard keyboard most places for <$10; so why pay extra for a " crippled" one?

Just a brief google search and this was the average item i found to fit your requirement, an expandable PDA keyboard-like this one ->Stowaway (http://www.pdabuyersguide.com/tips/stowaway.htm) & it runs around $99!

There are a few at Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/app/Viewproduct.asp?DEPA=1&order=PRICE&submit=list&catalog=63&description=&srchFor=mini) for a under $20, look down the page a bit....

Good call Budfred; i didn't look hard enough it seems-still you're going to pay more than $10 for any of those it looks like, so my original recommendation remains.

Looking for one that is close to normal minus the num pads (maybe 84 keys)
simply for more room on my desk.
