Hi: I am trying to reistall RH version 8.0, on a new system
( I had it running on my old PC) I am moving the HD from the old to the new
On this PC I am running Win XP Pro and I do have a separate HD just for Linux,
I am installing it from CD, the installer starts by loading a driver:ohci11394, the comes up a Window for selecting a language for the installation, after I ok’ed that another window comes up, for the keyboard selection, and after that comes up the installation method
and the 3 only options are:
1-NFS Image
2-FTP
3-HTTP
None of those are the one I need, I need to install from the CD
Is ther a way to format this drive under Linux?, and if so how
TIA
Miguel

Are you actually booting from the Red Hat CD?
