Here's the deal... Abit VP6 mobo, Sound Blaster Live MP3+5.1, ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon, two PIII 1GHz, 512MB of RAM (2 matched Crucial PC133 DIMMs), 2 WD 60 gig HD of the High Point RAID controller as a 120 gig stripe set, in an Antec case with a 400 watt PS. I can get the system to boot, I get W2K installed and start loading drivers... But once I get to the point of being ready to load apps, if I reboot the machine gets to the first Windows load screen and gives me " The system cannot find the specified file: C:\WINNT\SYSTEM\SYSTEM32..." and stops there. According to the Knowledge Base you could get that from certain Reg keys being oversized, but my entire Registry is <4MB. If I try to use an ERD I can't recover the installation, so I've had to reinstall. I've been through this about 20 times and every time it looks like I'm fine until this happens. I had it up and running the Sandra Burn-In for 10 hours with no problems the other day, brought it down and it wouldn't reboot. I've got the latest version of all the drivers, and I've done everything I can think of to make sure all the hardware is good. I'm not overclocking and when it's running the CPU's never get above 83 degrees F. Can anyone give me any suggestions?

Pull out the sound card and see what happens. Lots of people have trouble with Soundblasters and VIA VT82C686B southbridge motherboards.
