Everytime I boot into safe mode, my computer fires up, put just hangs when I boot into normal mode....nothings been changed or updated.....can anyone help please... http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/mad.gif

Welcome to the forum lego:

Once in safe mode,

go to start --> run type msconfig

under startup choose logged or some similar type of startup.

Then you can look in the log and see where it hangs in the
boot process.

Let us know what the boot log shows.....

Thanks for the reply, I`ll try that tonight, but last night I thought about when the last time it all work fine, and it was when I was trying out a new network card and Hub, so I powered up the Hub and booted......would you believe that it fired up first time.......
P.S. there is a wake up LAN on this card but as far as I`am aware it not confiured to work via this.
