Do CD-RW disks require defragmenting if you delete and re-write files to them?
There's no facility to do this in defrag programs - the option isn't listed at all.

Yes, a file stored on a CD-RW can be fragmented, but it depends on how you are using the disk...are you using it as a big floppy (UDF/Mt Ranier) or like an erasable CD.
No, it doesn't really need to be done...
Maybe a good idea to arrange what you want on the disk in its own folder beforehand and then drfrag that drive/partition/folder...
Over all the impact of file fragmentation in CDRW is negligible.

Yes am using the CD-RW as a big floppy, with InCDs UDF format.

If I thought there was a problem with such fragmentation my own inclination would be to copy the files to the HDD, reformat the CDRW and then copy the files back - whether that be logical or not.
