Got problems whit my venerable Pentium MMX 133 Mhz.
I`ve installed a 4 Gb HD whit W98 SE, but the system
don`t detect any IDE disp. at all. After severals boots
it finally detect it, but when i restart, theres no disk again!
It`s a pretty old device, about five years, but it works fine
in other computers.
I also have another problem, but I think it worth a separated
post (the next one). Read it for more details, perhaps the issues are related.
Any suggestions at this point?

If it's working on other computers you might need a bios update
have you got it set to auto detect?
on the other computers with it installed could you access full capacity in BIOS? are you sure the cable is secured properly?
if you have extending problems with this system lets hearum now if it is related to this pretty much need to know.
