I am wanting to upgrade a Celeron 700MHz CPU to something a little faster and I am not sure which CPUs will work with my motherboard. I am unsure of what things matter when it comes to upgrading CPUs.

Dell's tend not to be friendly toward upgrades. They are very proprietary and tend to cripple their motherboards so that you can't do much customizing. The best way to find out what it might be able to handle is probably to check your model on their website and if it doesn't say, to ask them in tech support by email... I suspect you will find you can't do what you want to do unless you build a whole new system....

I can tell you right now.......no it won't.

The i810 chipset is not going to hadle the over 1 Gig CPUs...
