i can't delete this strange and unnamed folder:

1) notice that the folder only shows up on the right side, not the left
2) i can't delete it, cut it, or click-through to it
3) my folder options say do not show hidden or system files

what is it? how do i get rid of it?

Every time I click on it I get a different picture what were you playing with looks like some kind of Adobie stuff???? cause when I clicked on it instead of my cursur or pointer I got a hand like in Adobie.
basically it's a web site I really don't know what you are asking???

YODA - i'm not sure what you mean about getting a different picture each time you click on it. it's just a screen shot (GIF) of my windows explorer. i have run a virus check and came up clean.

MJC - i'm running windows 98 and i have been installing and uninstalling some programs. mostly small utilites from download.com.

Ok, I bet that one of the utilities you installed either didn't completely uninstall or it created a system folder...have you tried renaming it?

Also can you remembeer what you installed and what you removed?

well one time I click on it I get a picture to the right that says lose 10 lbs and has a lady in a swim suit the next time i click on it's a yahoos
personals add I ain't kidden neither I had to call my wife in to check it out and i ran virus check on my system nothing. This is really to strange

YODA - you're looking at the add that geocities/yahoo puts up there so that the service remains free. look at the actual gif that i have on the website.

MJC - i can't do anything with that folder, rename, delete, cut, paste, make shortcut - nothing. it's pretty frustrating, but i guess it is not doing any harm there (i hope).
