Hello,
i am running windows 98, and i recently moved my computer into a different case. i got it into the new case, and it worked for a bit, but now when i boot it up, i get the error message: "Keyboard is locked out - Unlock the key" i read somewhere that it might have something to do with the lock on the front of the case, but i dont think it could be locked, because i dont have the key, i have never had a key for it. if someone could help me out and possible tell me what is wrong, and how to fix it, i would be very grateful.
Thank you, Nick

Welcome to the PC Guide.
Make sure that the connectors coming off the case are on the right connections on the motherboard. Esp. the IDE LED, Keylock and the HDD LED. I think that your problem is coming from having one of these on the wrong pins.

Welcome to http://www.pcguide.com/ubb/pcgubb.gif

I am guessing you can't access BIOS, but if you can, check settings for the keyboard and make sure you don't have anything that would cause this problem.

If you can't, try resetting the BIOS using the Clear CMOS jumper or by taking out the battery on the motherboard with the computer unplugged and pressing the power on button. Replace the battery after a few minutes. After either method, try a boot again.

If it still is blocked, post back with more details about your system and when this message appears to get more help...
