Hello!, I have a serious problem with the Bios, my motherboard is a socket 7 AMD 300MHZ, with no reason I did some changes on the Bios, the last thin I remember I cleared the NAVRAM, and now I have no video, no beeps only the HDLight is ON, and the fan of the CPU, the video and audio are included in the motherboard, no cards, I tried every thing, removed the battery, tried delete, insert, cero, F8, and nothing works, I don't know how go back to the original setting on the bios, PLEASE HELP! How long did you remove the battery for? Some older MOBO you need to leave the battery out for about half an hour for the board to reset itself to the original settings. MAke sure the computer is unplugged. Woulddn't be a bad isea if you see if you can find the MOBO manual and see if you can locate the the jumpers to clear the BIOS settings. Or try running a paper clip ( or any small metal object ) from the bottom of the battery holder to the side of the battery holder for 5 seconds, does the same thing as using the jumpers.

Is there an option to restore defaults? What type of board is it and what bios does it have [ami, award, etc].
