i have an hp pavilion 6635. it has a celeron processor 533mhz and 128kb cache ram. it has 64mb of ram. when i go into system settings, there's an exclamation point on processor support. when i click on properties, it tells me that ntkern.vxd cann't load the drivers and to reinstall them. i've never heard of a processor needing drivers. I don't have any and am at a loss as to where to find them.
my sound system also needs the drivers reinstalled but when i try it, it says that ntkern.vxd and mmdevldr.vxd can't load the drivers.( these drivers i have)
The modemn drivers loaded fine and are the only drivers that i have from a factory disk.
thanx
I believe that you have an Intel i810 chipset motherboard.
You may be able to find the drivers on the HP site, but you do have a better chance of finding the i810 chipset drivers on the Intel site.
The sound drivers are another story....
If you can't find them on the HP site, then post back that you can't I think I may have them....
