Try this http://www.tufftest.com/free.htm

Having made the diagnostic floppy, you boot from the OS on the floppy and sit back and watch your hardware being tested.
Because it uses its own OS [not Windows or DOS] it eliminates any problems introduced by the native OS.
So if an apparent hardware problem is found then it really is a hardware problem.

It just sits there and flashes "loading" Tried to down load and make new disk. Same problem. Any thoughts....

Can you normally boot from floppies?
The disk is a little tricky to make and really easy to use.
Do you think you made it correctly?
Try it in someone elses PC.
I just tried mine again.
I have drive overlay software, so I wait until a certain point in the startup sequence, press the spacebar, put the floppy in place, press the spacebar again and it immediately boots from the floppy and displays a window.
Without drive overlay, you just put it in the ploppy drive and switch on the PC.
