Beep codes are controlled by the Mfg of the BIOS. Award, Phoenix, Intel, etc.

Asus would be Award. One long continous beep denotes power problem/supply board.

Soooo. There is a power problem or a Mboard problem.

Luck.

UUUUUMMMM, hang on a second, you said you removed the memory? That too will give a continuous beep. You must have some memory (that works) for the machine to POST.
Make sure you have known-good memory(that works on that board), known-good CPU, and known-good video card. With that, you should get at leased a POST screen.
Also, a little more system info would help us. Is this a new-build, crashed system, not functioning after upgrade,...etc.

Ranchdog, still usefull info.

Guard, with the BIOS identified, go HERE (http://www.bioscentral.com) and look up your BIOS. You can find definitions to the different beep codes for your machine there.
Good luck
