The shift key sticks occasionally on my keyboard. It just stated doing that a couple of days ago. Could it be dirty and need cleaning? I've got a can of compressed air. Wonder if that could take care of it.

..or better yet, pop the key out and wash it with soap and warm water. that should take care of any greasy/sticky substances on the key. Oh, and while the key is out, you could use a cotton swab and a little bit of alcohol to clean the hole where the key used to be. just be careful not to break anything. computer keys are easily removed and put back but some larger keys can be damaged if you try to force them out.
